I don’t know about you, but I’m really looking forward to this new movie coming out starring Anthony Hopkins. I’ve been a big fan of the Master of Suspense since I was in junior high. I was very much “myself” even way back then, I guess… I managed to convince a group of 7th grade girls to form a sort of unofficial Alfred Hitchcock Society. We would watch one of his movies or episodes from Alfred Hitchock Presents at our weekly slumber parties. It didn’t last long, but it was a lot of fun. I think my favorite is still Vertigo… One of the things that has really endeared Mr. Hitchcock to me over the years (besides his love of blondes!) is the unique brand of humor sprinkled throughout his body of work. Here is a fabulous example of it in the original 1963 trailer for The Birds. Enjoy. And Happy Halloween!

I AM A BIG FAN, TOO!!!!!!!
LOVE THE PICS!
NICE WAY TO START A SCARY HALLOWEEN
DAY! D
I watched the Alfred Hitchcock Hour on TV during the 60′s and can still remember the theme music that went with the show. Lot’s of great mysteries with an unexpected twist at the end. Would like to see a rerun of some of those episodes.
Yes! The song was called “Funeral March of A Marionette”. Remember when I played it in the piano recital? Man, I was a weird kid.
